The Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA) Emergency Safety Bulletin on wildfires and fire damaged trees was launched at the APF forestry show at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire in September.
The Safety Bulletin was prepared in conjunction with a variety of organisations and individuals, including Forestry & Land Scotland, Scottish Forestry, Forestry Commission England, and Scottish Wildfire Forum member Michael Bruce, with support from Forestry Contractors Association and the Institute of Chartered Foresters. Further guidance will be developed as resources allow.
This document may assist landowners managing ongoing public safety risks associated with fire-damaged trees, including within the Abernethy-Glenmore access safety exclusion zones.
